SPIRITS
AsomBroso brings us the first pink tequila in the world. La Rosa Reposado is a fine tequila aged 3 months in French oak barrels once used for vintage Bourdeau wine, which provides the colour. The opening nose emits sweet floral scents. The palate entry is spicy and peppery with a sweet and smooth vanilla finish. 

Van Gogh Pomegranate Vodka begins with a sweet sensory experience filled with the aroma of melons, pomegranate and berries. The flavour is enhanced by a strong citrus kick and dark flavours that linger.


BEER
Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, CA has a range of new beers available in BC including Indiga, Alleycat and Great White beer. Boasting fairly strong hops, Indiga has a smooth and creamy texture with a bit of a dry aftertaste. Alleycat is a full-flavoured amber ale made with roasted caramel malt, while Great White Ale is a crisp beer with a hint of citrus.


REFRESHMENT BEVERAGES
Some new flavours are available to quench our thirst this summer: Rockstar Vodka along with Rockstar Pomegranate Vodka; Pomtini is available in pomegranate and blueberry; Smirnoff is offering a Twisted Artic Berry; and Bacardi Breezer can now be found in raspberry and dragonfruit.


WINE
Thirsty Lizard is available in an eye-catching B-Pak. The Semillon Sauvignon Blanc has a fresh fruit-driven style that is easy to drink. The Semillon gives the wine its full flavour while the Sauvignon Blanc adds lift to the aroma. 

Funky Llama from Mendoza, Argentina has released a 2005 Shiraz. It is clean, fresh, and lively with bright blackberry, plum, and vanilla flavours. 

PKNT from Chile has introduced a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Merlot has soft plum and berry fruit flavours making for an easy drinking wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon has rich cassis and black currant flavours that combine with sweet tannins in this full-bodied red wine.

The 2003 ModA, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Cantine Talamonti from Italy has an intense bouquet of ripe red fruit and is rounded out with a lively palate, rich in fruit and finely framed in oak spices. The 2006 Abruzzo Rosé is a brilliant light ruby red along with a raspberry, blackberry, cherry, and red fruit bouquet.

The Colombard Ugni Blanc 2005 has a fruity bouquet with peach, grapefruit, nectarine, and yellow cherry flavours over a mineral structure. Match it with raw oysters, grilled prawns, or steamed mussels or clams.

Perez Cruz Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2005 is a full-force Maipo red with black cherry aromas and flavours that are dark and chocolatey, with a long and minty warm finish.
